API® MELAFIX is a natural antibacterial fish treatment designed to help treat common infections, including open wounds, abrasions, tail rot, cloudy eyes, and mouth fungus. It also promotes the regrowth of damaged fins and tissue.
MELAFIX can also be used when introducing new fish to help support a smooth transition into the aquarium. It will not affect the biological filter, alter pH, or discolor the water.
Dosage: Add 5 mL per 10 gallons (38 L) of aquarium water.
Treatment: Dose daily for 7 days, then perform a 25% water change.
New Fish: Dose daily for 3 days.
